Jay Villareal testing a client’s hip mobility on the treatment table

Our approach

Not six visits and a handout. A plan with data behind it.

Insurance decides how long your appointment lasts and when your care ends. We don’t take insurance, so your plan is built around your body and your goals. Every plan starts with objective testing, so we’re treating what’s actually happening, not what’s probably happening.

  • 60 minone-on-one visits
  • No capson visits or authorizations

“Orthopedic surgeons said that I would just need to deal with the pain until it got bad enough to have a knee replacement. Jay and Adam totally changed that course for me.”

“After six weeks of working with Jay I went from consistent severe low back pain on any movement to pain-free.”

“I am almost 60 and still running, cycling and lifting - I owe much of this to the care and guidance I received from Jay!”

How it works

One system. Three steps.

Whether you came in with back pain, a new knee or a goal, every plan follows the same path.

  1. Client squatting on force plates while Jay Villareal reads the results on a laptop

    Test

Force plate, body composition, PNOĒ metabolic analysis, strength testing. You find out why, with numbers.

  2. Adam Wilson guiding a client through a banded shoulder exercise

    Rebuild

1:1 concierge physical therapy, unhurried, no visit caps.

  3. Adam Wilson going over a client’s training plan with her on a tablet

    Optimize

Ongoing programming and virtual coaching so the gains hold.

Objective testing, not guesswork

  • Force plate testingStrength, power and side-to-side balance, measured as you jump, squat and land.
  • InBody body compositionMuscle, fat and water by body segment, so you track muscle, not just weight.
  • PNOĒ metabolic analysisClinical-grade breath analysis of how your heart, lungs and cells perform.
  • ACL longevity testingStrength deficits, asymmetries and mechanics that drive re-injury, found early.

“I’ve blown out my knee twice from college sports, had back problems from years of hard labor and spent countless hours in physical therapy with probably over 12 physical therapists. No one knows their stuff better, listens better and gets results better than Jay.”

“I had back surgery in April and honestly wasn’t sure what my golf game would look like afterward. Jay is the reason I’m not just back on the course, but playing better than I expected, walking all 18 holes with no cart. He didn’t hand me a generic stretching routine. He built a program around what golf actually demands: rotation through the hips and thoracic spine, the load on my back through the swing.”

“During my ACL recovery, Adam was my saving grace. … Adam is meticulous and pays close attention to help you get back to 100%. He took the time to explain to me exactly what was going on at each phase and was beyond encouraging and supportive. I can not recommend Adam enough!”

Paying without insurance

How paying for care works here

Straight answers about insurance, reimbursement, HSA and FSA cards, and cost.

See every price
Do you take insurance?

No. We’re an out-of-network, insurance-free practice. That’s what lets us spend a full hour with you one-on-one and build a plan around your goals instead of around visit caps and authorizations.

Can I get reimbursed by my insurance?

Often, yes. If your plan has out-of-network physical therapy benefits, we’ll give you a superbill: an itemized receipt with the diagnosis and treatment codes your insurer needs. You submit it and your insurer reimburses you directly. Ask your insurer about “out-of-network outpatient physical therapy benefits” to find out what they’ll cover.

Can I use my HSA or FSA?

Physical therapy is generally an eligible expense for health savings and flexible spending accounts, so you can usually pay with your HSA or FSA card. Performance testing and longevity coaching usually aren’t eligible unless they treat a specific medical condition, so check with your plan administrator.

What does it cost?

Your first physical therapy visit, a 60-minute evaluation and treatment, is $210. Follow-up visits are $175 for 60 minutes, in person or virtual. Every price is published on our pricing page, and the discovery call is free.

What happens on the free 15-minute call?

You talk with one of our Doctors of Physical Therapy about what’s going on and what you want to get back to. We’ll tell you honestly whether we’re the right fit and what the next step would be. There’s no obligation to book anything.
